Buddy - Neutered Terrier Mix |
Buddy was dumped out here as a young pup in the spring of 2002, when he was about 12 to 14 weeks old. We found him on April 23, 2002. He had worms and a skin problem. He is now healthy and happy. He is well behaved. Very friendly, happy, and full of love and energy. He always notifies us when someone pulls into the driveway. He would make an excellent pet, indoors or out. I hope we can find him someone who will love him and care for him. He deserves a good home. If we didn't already have so many animals, I'd love to keep him. He deserves to be in a home where he can get more attention then he is able to get here.
When he was a puppy, we had him indoors for awhile. We had him crate trained and house broken. We would keep him in the crate at night, and also during the day when we were not home. He would cross his little legs if we were gone all day. Then, when we put the leash on him, he would run to the front door! It was so cute! The cats we have indoor did not like him. So, when he was old enough, we built him his own fenced in area of the yard. If someone would like him as an indoor/outdoor dog, with a little retraining, he would probably be a wonderful house pet.
He loves to chase balls. He loves to chew on sticks, rawhide, and pig ears. He also likes to catch grasshoppers and other bugs that cross his path.
Buddy is neutered. We also have him on once a month heartworm prevention. I would recommend that whoever adopts him continue that for him to have a long and healthy life.
Here are some pictures that were taken of Buddy when he was younger.
